Brass Band March with Eco Brix on the 30th of May, 2022
As a preliminary event to the upcoming Uganda Marathon in Masaka on Saturday, 4th of June 2022, the IMLS Brass Band accompanied the organisers of the marathon as well as friends and affiliated organisations on their clean-up tour through Masaka City on 30th of May 2022. Members of the main organisers Eco Brix and participants of the marathon from all over the whole world marched through the city with the IMLS band leading the way. Side by side the people taking part in the march collected trash with big red gloves while advertising the upcoming marathon on their way through Masaka. The annual international marathon was launched to create an unforgettable experience for international participants and Ugandan nationals, as well as for collecting money for organisations and NGO`s helping Ugandan people and their environment. The purpose of the run is also reflected in their slogans, which say “a race like no other” and “run for people and planet”.
