On 10th August, we received students from the University of Applied Sciences Regensburg, Germany under the engineering department. These ones are having an exchange program with the fellow engineering students at IMLS for a period of three weeks where they are sharing knowledge, skills and ideas mainly in  plumbing and installation. Through the existing partnership between the city of Regensburg and Masaka, IMLS Teachers and administrators have been invited for a one-month music course at the Sing- and Music School of Regensburg. The journey was slated for June 2020 but now postponed to 2022 due to the Corona crisis.

Every year the International School of Music, Languages and Polytechnic Studies hosts the Sing and Music School of the city of Regensburg, Germany. On 3rd December 2019, we hosted Mrs. Annette Davidson and Mr. Geoffroy Schied from “Concerts for a World in Motion”, Germany. They were entertained by our children’s traditional troupe. On 14th December 2019, Mr. Willi Kampmann, a politician from Germany and Mr. Kabiito Dennis from the Uganda young farmer’s association visited us and were also astonished by the great entertainment by our children’s troupe. Very marvelous!

Our previous December holiday program was crowned with a storming Christmas concert which left parents and friends speechlessly adoring the beautiful fruits of IMLS. The booming orchestra, beautiful sounds of choir, talented theatre students acting the story of Jesus’ birth, the brass band, and all individual instruments.
