Brass Band March on the 5th of May, 2022
On the 5th of May, 2022 the famous Brass Band of IMLS lead the celebration of the International Midwives Day by marching through the streets of Masaka City. They were accompanied by Midwives and Nurses from Masaka Regional Referral Hospital. The band was conducted by a German volunteer Thomas Jaeschke. The main event was held at Masaka Liberation Grounds, where the band performed different pieces which included the famous piece YMCA of village people and easy pop suite by Dizzy Stratford. All attending the celebration were really impressed by their performance, as well as thankful for the musical accompaniment of the marsh.
